Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Employee Companion, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

Use License

Permission is granted to use Employee Companion for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license includes the right to:

This license does not include the right to:

User Responsibilities

As a user of Employee Companion, you agree to:

You acknowledge that AI-generated responses may contain errors and should be verified independently before relying on them.

Intellectual Property

The Employee Companion platform, including its design, features, text, graphics, and other content (excluding user-uploaded content), is owned by HR On Demand and protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any documents or content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Employee Companion a limited license to process and display that content solely for providing the service to you.

We do not share your information with your employer. Your documents and conversations are private and confidential, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but make no guarantees. Employee Companion may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or other circumstances. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HR On Demand shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of Employee Companion, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, revenue, or employment
  • Actions taken based on information provided
  • Service interruptions or errors

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HR On Demand and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of Employee Companion, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of others.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to Employee Companion immediately, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of the service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable jurisdiction.
